UFO Sighting In NevadaWe were in our yard on Lahontan Dam Road in Fallon, NV, late July-or early August. The sky was dark and clear.

At any given time of day or night one can lookout in the sky and see 3 Fallon Air Station jets/planes in the air over the Fallon, Silver Springs, Lake Lahontan areas. They have red and white lights.

On the night in question, I saw come over the mountains directly behind our property, a huge, glowing, white craft flying parallel to the horizon rather than upward.

I could see 3 Navy planes rounding up to try to follow it, but they were not fast enough and as the large craft kept going, it vanished but without actually flying too far away for me to see - it just plain vanished.

This craft moved so fast it had a huge, long "trail". The craft dwarfed the navy planes, like 3 mosquitoes chasing a large watermelon, so to speak. It was amazing to witness such a sight.

Of course the navy planes were still visible long after the craft disappeared. I was too awestruck for those few seconds to tell my husband to turn around and look, and then it was over.

UFO Sighting Mount BensonChris Ansell and Kathleen Kirby have crossed Santa Claus off their list as they search for answers after they reported seeing four unidentified flying objects over Mount Benson on Christmas Day.

At 8:29 p.m., while on the deck of Ansell's parents' home on King John Way, the couple saw four orange lights the size of stars zip through the sky from four different directions and come together above the mountain.

Ansell, 35, whipped out his Blackberry to catch the action, while Kirby, 23, grabbed a nearby camera.

The four "starlike lights did this weird zig-zag thing and then turned into green glowing spheres and then, poof, they disappeared upwards," Ansell said, gesturing frantically with his hands.

In less than 40 seconds it was all over, but Ansell and Kathleen captured three images they hope will eventually lead to an explanation of their mysterious sighting.

"We know it wasn't Santa. He had already come and gone," said Ansell with a laugh, pointing to his mother.

Paul Greenhalgh, president of the Fraser Valley Astronomers Society, has a few suspicions about what could have caused the extraordinary light show, though he discounts the possibility they were UFOs.

After examining Ansell's and Kirby's photos, Greenhalgh believes the "stars" are part of the Big Dipper constellation.

The low horizon of the Earth and thicker density of the atmosphere from the angle the stars were seen caused them to change colour from orange to red to blue and green. Greenhalgh also said the satellite Chandra (an X-ray space observatory) was also moving across the sky at the same time as the couple's sighting, as were two iridium satellites.

"If they flared, otherwise known as an iridium flare, this could also add to the equation," added Greenhalgh.

As far as the description of the erratic movements, Greenhalgh has no explanation.

"I have a philosophy about UFO sightings," he said. "The galaxy is 100,000 light years across. If we were able to send a message from our solar system to another solar system on the other side of the galaxy through the galactic core, without it being disrupted with all the radiation there, it would take 65,000 years for us to say hello and an additional 65,000 years for them to reply. It's going to be a very boring conversation."

Greenhalgh has studied and stared into the sky for more than four decades without ever seeing an UFO. Only once in 43 years did he see a flying object he couldn't explain.

But he uncovered the mystery two years later when he discovered the v-shape formation and central bright light he saw had been U.S. Navy satellites that had been tethered together.

Greenhalgh also point out that any aircraft that enters the Earth's atmosphere would definitely be detected by the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

"NORAD can track anything from the size of a ping pong ball and larger," he said.

Ansell and Kirby continue to keep a close eye on the night sky above Mount Benson with the hopes of another sighting.

"I just need an explanation. I don't believe in extraterrestrials or anything like that, but anything is possible," said Ansell.

"We do live in a huge universe and there could be things out there that just want to observe us.

"All we can hope is someone else saw it, too."

UFO Sighting WelwynChristian Joseph was visiting family in Welwyn when he clocked a strange orange light at around 5.30pm.

He said: “I noticed what I thought was a firework/rocket shoot up into the sky from the direction of Lockleys Farm, in a right-to-left arc.

“It glowed a brilliant intense orange colour, and didn’t really look like any rocket I’d ever seen before.

“I waited for it to explode, but instead it just reached a plateau and hung in the air for about a minute.”

He continued: “I called my dad out to see.

“By then, it had receeded (sic) somewhat into the distance, but he still managed to see it, and he thought the bright orange colour was odd to say the least.

“It was certainly unlike any aircraft I or my father had seen before.

“After gradually reducing in brightness, it disappeared completely.”

He added: “I’ve since wondered if it could’ve been a Chinese lantern, but the way it accelerated up in a rocket-like arc makes me think not.”

The following UFO video (below) has been recently uploaded onto the Internet. It is believed to have been filmed somewhere in the UK in the last month.

It shows a UFO similar in shape to the pyramid UFOs that were seen recently in Russia and China and created quite a stir on the Internet and amongst UFO fans.

The UK has been a UFO hot-spot for decades with numerous sightings being reported on an annual basis. Area's with particularly high rates of UFO activity include Yorkshire and Wiltshire as well as the 'West Country' in general. Some researchers have suggested that a UFO wormhole exit is located somewhere off the coast of Yorkshire. A UFO wormhole allows extraterrestrial craft to conduct inter-galactic or inter-planetary travel at faster than light speeds.

UFO Sighting MemphisPilot spots triangle UFO ’size of a football field’

A Tennesseee pilot watching departing traffic at Memphis International Airport reported seeing a triangle UFO with dull white lights on November 24, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The 8-year commercial pilot veteran said the object’s lights were not blinking or strobing, and that it was silent. The pilot stated that the object was moving at between Mach 1 to Mach 1.5.

Sizing the object up with other known aircraft in the sky at the time, the pilot believes this object was “the size of a football field.”

Reports appear to have increased on these large triangle crafts that are low to the ground.

Following is the unedited and uninvestigated report from MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade.

TN, I’m a pilot w/ based in MEM. I was watchiching departing traffic overhead, and noticed at approx. 290 degrees a diamond shape object with dull white lights travelling at approx Mach 1- 1.5 totally SILENT!

I was in my kitchen looking southward out the window when I saw these really bright, flashing lights hovering in the sky. There were about 3 or 4 individual objects, each hovering and rotating around a central object, which was the brightest of them all.

The lights on the object flashed orange, blue, green, and red on each object, and the back of the objects were two, very bright, circular lights.

Each object would travel away from the central object left or right, then return to the central object and rotate, and repeat the action for about 30 minutes. I called my dad over to look at it, and he said he had no idea what it could be.

My dad is a big aircraft lover, so his confusion as to what it could be shocked me. Other planes passed it like it wasn't even there.

I was shocked and confused when I saw the objects and I was also somewhat frightened. This was the 5th time I've seen the objects. The objects all left to the east after about 30 minutes.

The objects only appear on very clear, cool nights between about 7 and 8 PM.
